The 2011 Vendemmia da Vinci Festival was a tremendous success with close to 3,000 people in attendance, 32 food and wine vendors, live professional Italian entertainment and a beautiful sunny day. Some of the highlights of the Festival:

Societa’ da Vinci Essay Contest
“What does it mean to be Italian American in 2011?”
was the question asked to local High School students.

On Sunday, October 9, 2011 the winners were presented at the Vendemmia da Vinci Festival.
The first place winner was awarded $1,000, second place $500 and third place $250.
